This beautiful one of a kind lidded vessel has a suction lid and an array of colors brought to life with a cherry finish. The tall stature allows your eye to see more of the unique coloring and patterns within the wood. The hardest part might be picking a front! This piece can be purely home décor or functional storage. With a suction lid this urn could also be a special resting place for a beloved pet. This piece is made of Montana beetle kill blue stain ponderosa pine that Michael Kline harvested and turned himself. .

The beauty of nature never disappoints. This Blue Stain Ponderosa Pine has taken on another form after the bark beetle burrowed in. The stunning color and patterns within the wood comes from the symbiotic relationship between the bark beetle and blue stain fungus. This invasion kills the host tree, requiring it to be harvested to reduce forest fire fuel. The lumber is still sound and good to use, just with a new look! This process takes years to achieve a deep color and is sourced within a few miles of our home base. We personally salvage this wood to bring you a unique piece of nature that symbolizes the delicate balance of life.
